What's Included in Your Pilot

  • One Library, Real Classrooms

Focus your pilot on a single instructional library (Middle School Science, High School Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) with 3-5 selected units. This keeps evaluation manageable and feedback actionable.

  • 5-20 Teachers Using Content

Your teachers actively use Sciesmic materials in their classrooms over 6-8 weeks. We provide onboarding, responsive support, and check-ins to ensure successful implementation.

  • Comprehensive Report

Receive detailed pilot outcomes including teacher feedback surveys, usage metrics, implementation insights, and clear recommendations for adoption decisions.

Before launch

Initial Consultation

We'll have a 30-minute call to understand your needs, confirm which library makes sense, identify your teacher cohort size, and establish success criteria for the pilot.

Week 1

Pilot Launch & Onboarding

We provide teacher access, conduct a kickoff meeting to demonstrate the platform and materials, and answer all questions. Teachers begin implementing content in their classrooms.

Weeks 2-6

Active Implementation

Teachers use Sciesmic content while we provide responsive support. Mid-pilot feedback survey captures early insights. Weekly check-ins ensure smooth implementation.

Weeks 7-8

Evaluation & Decision

We compile all feedback and usage data into a comprehensive summary report, present findings in a final meeting, and discuss annual license options if you decide to move forward.

"I've been an educator for many years. My students have loved your resources and they are just so easy to use."

Oluremi Olaniran

Dept. Chair, CISD

"As a new teacher these resources are amazing. You have to get up to speed so quickly as a new teacher and having y'all by my side made it SO much easier. Thank you!"

Joseph Jarosek

Teacher, Round Rock ISD

"Y'all have really helped me improve my teaching. My kids are so engaged and it's like a superpower!"

Kayla Elam

Teacher, MISD

"As I went over the resource with my students, I told them how to takes notes on
informational text. The articles are great & have tons of information. It helped them and I really appreciated how it was written in chunks with information. THANKS!! The price was worth every penny."

Michael H.

Teacher, NY

"I started with very simple graphs in August then moved to showing more data graphs where students had to think critically in science. I am using this, and they are GREAT! It is exactly what I was looking for my students to compete. Thank you!"

Shelley DeGeorge

Teacher, CA

"I had never taught science before and these resources made everything so much easier!"

Frequently asked questions

How much does a pilot cost?

Nothing. District pilots are completely free with no obligation to purchase. We provide access, support, and reporting at no cost.

How long does a pilot last?

Typically 6-8 weeks. This gives teachers enough time to use content across multiple units while keeping evaluation focused and actionable.

Can we pilot more than one library?

We recommend starting with one library to keep evaluation manageable. After a successful first pilot, you can pilot additional libraries.

What happens after the pilot ends?

We present a comprehensive summary report and discuss your options. There's no pressure—you decide if and when to move forward with an annual license.

What's the difference between Core and PocketLab tiers?

Core libraries provide direct access to all content. PocketLab-integrated libraries deliver content through PocketLab Notebook platform with sensor-aligned workflows. We can pilot either option.

Do teachers need special training?

We provide a kickoff meeting to demonstrate the platform and materials. Most teachers find the content immediately usable. Ongoing support is available throughout the pilot.

Can we extend the pilot if needed?

Yes, if you need more time to complete evaluation, we can discuss extending access. The goal is a thorough, informed decision.

What if we're not in Texas?

Sciesmic content is aligned to both TEKS (Texas) and NGSS (national standards). We work with districts nationwide.
