Science Education Built by Teachers, Designed for Districts

Sciesmic delivers standards-aligned science instructional libraries that support modern teaching practices and scale seamlessly across entire districts.

  • Mission

Students will learn science through materials as unique as themselves. They will grow as young minds to think of science beyond the classroom walls. Finally, they will achieve any scientific desire they set their minds to

  • Vision

We will put science into the hands of every K-12 student in the United States (and a love of science into every heart).

  • Values

Every student is capable of achieving great things. By fostering a love for science and providing the appropriate supports, the sky is the limit for any student.

Our Mission

Sciesmic exists to solve a fundamental challenge in K-12 science education: the gap between standards-based curriculum frameworks and the daily reality of classroom instruction.

Teachers need more than textbooks. They need flexible, phenomenon-based instructional resources that bring science to life while maintaining alignment to state standards. Districts need solutions that work at scale—resources that provide instructional consistency across campuses while supporting diverse teaching approaches.

We bridge this gap by providing comprehensive annual instructional libraries that combine:
• Standards-aligned content (TEKS and NGSS)
• Phenomenon-based learning experiences
• Flexible implementation pathways
• Seamless district-wide deployment

Our libraries give teachers the tools they need to engage students while giving
districts the consistency and scalability they require.

  • 4th-graders investigating flamingos from A-Z Biology. Fun discussions and super engaged students!

  • 8th graders exploring respiration of yeast and Carbon dioxide.

  • 10th graders solving "crimes" using chemistry and pumpkin DNA.

  • 12th grade AP Environmental students exploring population dynamics and changes.

How Sciesmic Started

Sciesmic began in the classroom. As a practicing science teacher, I saw firsthand the challenge of finding quality instructional resources that genuinely supported phenomenon-based, standards-aligned teaching.

What started as creating supplemental materials for my own students evolved into sharing resources with colleagues, then teachers nationwide. As demand grew, we recognized an opportunity to do more than provide individual resources—we could build comprehensive instructional libraries designed specifically for district adoption.

Today, Sciesmic serves teachers and districts across the country with four complete science libraries spanning middle school and high school. Our content is trusted by educators because it's built by educators who understand both the classroom realities and the district-level need for scalable, consistent instructional solutions.

We've transitioned from a teacher resource marketplace to a district-ready
instructional partner—but our foundation remains the same: deep classroom experience and unwavering commitment to supporting excellent science teaching.
